Despite our initial disapointment with the hotel. We sucessfully hired a car for two days. Unfortunately i drew the short straw and drove whilst Jay did the navigation ( which we all know is his pet subject). We went to the cable car which has a grandient of 42 degrees and the longst single span in the world,(which made it rather wobbly) I felt like sitting on the floor which would of course have been no good whatsoever but i wasn't paricularly comfortable with the situation. There was a fantastic view of the island from up there and to top it off there was a sky bridge, a single arm suspension bridge between two peaks and amongst the clouds. We then came across seven wells which was a waterfall with seven pools where you could swim. The kids stripped off and played, sliding down the smooth rocks for most of the afternoon. The following day we went to a crocodile farm. Health and Safety was non existent but it made for a entertaining day!!! We caught all the best parts and made a quick departure. Unfortunately we didn't trust rusty standard chain link fencing between us and an 18ft croc. We then struggled to find a beach which was clean, however ended up at a small local beach where we spent afternoon dodging monkeys.
We then departed for mainland Malaysia with no fixed plan other than to have a change of scenery.
